Looking Back Over Time, or No Plan Survives Contact With Reality.

 Well, nothing worked out as intended, lost several life long friends along the way, my health starting to decline some, and my physical ability to do finer work seems to be looking for the exit as well. I suppose time is really nobodies friend in the end.

 I did get a few nicer cars though, some are upgrades from Athearn, Accurail, Walthers, or Atlas. A few from Moloco, Tangent, and Rapido, joined the team as well as a couple of treasures from those friends mentioned in the first paragraph and those still above ground. Some are detailed while others are just weathered very nicely; seems I like them just as much.

 

I guess I've always been a sucker for the hundreds and hundreds of railroad marked boxcars that I grew up watching roll past me while trackside. This has not diminished over time. The above SRR boxcar is an example of this attraction, and this car is just one of many which hold that level of fascination.
